Maurice Sendak on Life
January 4, 2013
It’s been a while since I’ve come across something so moving.
It’s an excerpt from an interview with the beloved children’s author/illustrator, Maurice Sendak. You probably know him best from Max’s rumpus in Where the Wild Things Are. Sadly he passed away last year, but having grown up with his books, myself, I know that many will continue to fall in love with them for generations to come.
Pour yourself a cup of tea, marvel at the illustrations, and listen to the excerpt of his interview here. He sends the most beautiful message in a way that only a gifted writer can.
Happy 2013, everyone. “I wish you all good things.”
