Green Thumbs

That long weekend was really something.  Hopefully everyone feels rested and rejuvenated for the last home stretch.

Although we’ve had a lovely taste of the sunshine over here on the west coast, our holiday was punctuated with – yet again – more rain.  We can’t be too down about it though; flowers need rain to help them grow, wouldn’t you say?

Well, maybe not these ones.

All that’s needed for this eco-friendly artwork are some recycled materials found around the house.  Experimenting with mixed media always leads to such interesting and novel works of art.  Kudos to my student teacher, Ms. Kang, for coordinating the activity.
