A superb math lesson by my superb student teacher, Miss Kang.
We stepped our way into learning about “measurement” by seeing just how far our feet could take us.
We started in the classroom but then quickly ventured out in to the great wide open spaces of the hallway.
Did you know it’s about 200 kid steps from our classroom to the library? Who knew.
In case you’re wondering, heel-toe measurements require great balance – hence the arm-in-arm nature of the activity.
