‘S’ is for Starboard

We embraced our inner Captains and had a wonderful time at the Vancouver Maritime Museum yesterday.  We learned about tugboats and even had a chance to build our own before going aboard the real RCMP vessel, the St. Roch.

After lunch, we switched gears and got to feel animal pelts and a narwhal tusk while learning about some amazing creatures that live in the Arctic.

As if that wasn’t enough, we were fortunate enough to have the weather cooperate so we strolled the Museum grounds and took in all the beautiful views our beloved city of Vancouver has to offer.

It was a breath of fresh air and a lovely reprieve from all the bustling holiday festivities at school.

Three more days.
