Do you ever remember the whole, “show me how we can walk safely and respectfully in the hallway” spiel which inevitably led to the “clearly we need to practice walking down the hallway and if we can’t do this quietly, well then we just won’t go at all” scenario? That scene where you leave the classroom together only to go right back minutes later because kids are hanging off the bulletin boards, walking backwards, and knocking each other over like bowling pins?
Yep. That happened.
