A is for adorable

Who knew phonemic awareness could go hand in hand with cool typography?

This unique set of  illustrated letters is designed by Dustin Wallace for his little boy, Asher.  The colour palette, font and corresponding illustrations make for a pretty stylin’ learning tool – as well as a great alternative to the old “A is for apple” on flashcards. (Borrring.)

Dreaming of having these up around my classroom walls…  SO cool for school.

Hope your weekend is absolutely amazingly awesome.
