Monday Morning Mutterings

Following the lead of this lovely gal, I’ve decided to take a stab at some random ramblings every once in a while, myself.  Have a great week, everyone.

  • -January has the most teaching days of any month. I can believe it.
  • -I like the sound of rain on my skylights.
  • -There are 41 teaching days left until Spring Break. 41? Maybe I should count again.
  • -I wish I had a British accent.
  • -Pepperoni and pineapple is way better than ham and pineapple.
  • -My next book club session for teachers is this week.  I should really read the chapters seeing as I’m leading it. Yikes, they’re long.
  • -Paul Giamatti saluted Canadians on the Golden Globes last night.  Now I want to see his movie.
  • -I should have picked Steve Jenkins as our feature author for this month. We’ve just been devouring his non-fiction books.
  • -I got soaked during my run yesterday and during my soccer game on Saturday.  I’m surprised I’m not sick.
  • -Actually, I think I do feel kind of sick.
  • -Yup, it’s 41 days.
